Mr. Cobb began his sales career with A.N. Smith & Company of Baltimore in 1986. After learning the industrial and foodservice ingredients business from Mr. Neale Smith, Mr. Cobb was hired by Reynolds Metals Company in 1989 as their territory manager for Baltimore and Western Maryland. By successfully building the Reynolds foodservice business in the Baltimore region, he was promoted to National Accounts Manager in 1996 and was transferred to Reynolds’ headquarters in Richmond, Virginia. In this role, he had sales responsibilities for independent buying groups, QSR chains, casual dining chains, customized distribution and contract feeding organizations. In 2004, Mr. Cobb was promoted to Regional Sales Manager – Southeast for foodservice and supermarket distribution for Reynolds Food Packaging, a business of Alcoa. In this capacity, he directed the sales of Reynolds packaging portfolio in nine states with five direct reports and eleven brokerage companies. He is an alumnus of St. Paul’s School in Baltimore and holds a B.A. in English from St. Lawrence University. |
